KidsWoot has a sale that every mom-to-be and new mom should take advantage of.... the video monitor!!! I can tell you that for the past 2 years, my best friend has been our video monitor. It was the best way to transfer my son to his own room when I was a new and anxious mom, I could check on him when he was going through seperation anxiety without having to open the door every time, and it has worked wonders giving me peace of mind now that he is in his "big boy bed"!
